New Trucks and SUVs Coming Soon to Your Ford Dealer
Ford recently announced its new goal of having the freshest lineup among full-line automakers by the year 2020, replacing over 75 percent of its current lineup and adding four new trucks and SUVs. The company will continue to focus on its strengths in the truck, SUV and commercial segments.
A renewed focus on hybrids will offer customers more performance, capability and improved fuel economy. Ford is also planning on equipping all of its vehicles with 4G LTE connectivity by the end of 2019, and is introducing the Ford Co-Pilot 360 driver-assist technology package which protects from all-sides of the vehicle.
In the truck segment, Ford continues to lead the way with the F-150 which was refreshed for 2018. This year the new 3.0-liter Power Stroke diesel engine will be available, and an updated version of the F-150 Raptor. Next year the Ranger returns to the midsize truck segment, and a new F-Series Super Duty will debut.
By 2020, Ford plans on having a lineup of eight SUVs, and five of those will offer hybrid powertrains, and one will offer a full-electric powertrain. All-new SUV models include the new Bronco and an unnamed small off-road utility to be shown at a later date.
