Ford Surprises Dallas Firehouse with Thanksgiving Renovation

This Thanksgiving Ford Motor Company, Fox Sports, the Dallas Cowboys offensive line and actor Dennis Leary surprised the hard-working men and women of Dallas Fire Station 43 with a fire station makeover and a brand-new 2017 F-Series Super Duty pickup. The highlights of the rehab were shown during the Thanksgiving Pregame Show for the Cowboys vs. Redskins game. The northwest Dallas fire station was in need of a renovation after years of hard work, and Ford contracted with local renovation experts to complete the rehab. The starting offensive linemen from the Dallas Cowboys helped with demolition and some final touches in the kitchen and dining area for the firefighters’ Thanksgiving Day meal.

In addition to the renovation, Denis Leary on behalf of the Leary Firefighters Foundation pledged a $50,000 donation for the purchase of much needed equipment for the Dallas Fire Department.

“Today and every day, we’re grateful to the firefighters of Fire Station 43, and to firefighters across the country for their courage and bravery,” said Leary. “The Leary Firefighters Foundation is proud to team up with Ford to provide Dallas with much needed equipment, and to support the men and women who risk their lives to keep us safe.”

The Ford F-Series is the Official Truck of the National Football League, and is the leader in the emergency vehicle segment with a 58 percent market share. Men and women across the country rely on Ford vehicles to help them serve the public in a variety of severe-duty vocations.
