Ford Named Best Overall Truck Brand by KBB

For the third year in a row, Kelley Blue Book has named Ford the Best Overall Truck Brand for 2016. Ford has won the award seven out of eight times and truck shoppers have ranked Ford the highest among all truck brands, thanks in part to the class-leading F-150.

The Ford truck lineup is tougher, smarter and more capable than ever, with innovative new technologies like EcoBoost, Pro Trailer Backup Assist and aluminum construction that its competitors don’t offer. The latest SYNC 3 system also gives access to the latest apps and features smartphone connectivity.

This year the all-new 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty goes on sale, and will offer a best-in-class 440 hp and 860 lb.-ft. of torque when equipped with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engine. Customers will also have the option of a 6.2-liter gas V8 engine with an impressive 385 hp.

Ford trucks also retain their value better than the competition, and the F-150 recently won the full-size pickup category of the 2016 Pre-Owned Value Awards from TrueCar and ALG. The F-150 has been the bestselling truck in America for 39 years, and Ford has more F-series trucks on the road with over 250,000 miles than anyone else.

The Ford F-150 gives truck customers the ability to equip their truck exactly as they want, with multiple cab styles, bed lengths and four engine options. The new 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 delivers the best EPA fuel economy ratings for any gas-powered pickup and has an impressive 8,500 lb. towing capacity when properly equipped.
